How vji collects, uses, and protects your personal data
Introduction
Vji (referred to as "vji", "we", "us", or "our") operates vji.app, an AI cheat sheet generator that turns your text and images into clean, shareable cheat sheets. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Information We Collect
- Account and identity. When you sign in (we use Google sign-in; email-and-password login is disabled), we collect your email address and basic profile information from your provider. You may delete your account at any time.
- Content you submit. To generate a cheat sheet, you provide text and images (notes, screenshots, or similar). We do not accept PDF uploads. This submitted content is necessary to fulfill your request.
- Generated content. The cheat sheets we create for you, and the images you upload, are stored so we can display, deliver, and let you manage them.
- Usage and device data. We collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, we record your plan, subscription status, and billing periods. Your card and payment details are handled by our payment processors — we never store full card numbers.

How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and secure the service (authentication via Better Auth; storage on Cloudflare R2, D1, and KV).
- To process your inputs through our AI pipeline and generate your cheat sheets.
- To manage subscriptions and process payments.
- To understand usage and improve the product through analytics.
- To send transactional messages (for example, account and billing notices) and respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
AI Processing of Your Content
Your submitted text and images are transmitted to our generation pipeline to produce your cheat sheets. We use this content solely to generate the sheets you request. We do not use your submitted notes or images to train generative AI models.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Payment processors — Stripe, Creem, or Waffo, depending on your checkout region, for subscription billing.
- Analytics providers — Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, and Microsoft Clarity, used to measure and improve the service.
- Infrastructure providers — Cloudflare, which provides hosting, object storage (R2), database (D1), caching (KV), and email delivery.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms and only as needed to deliver their service to us.
Data Retention
- Account data is kept until you delete your account.
- Uploaded images and generated cheat sheets are retained while your account is active and are removed when you delete the account or the individual sheet.
- Billing records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial law.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account deletion feature or email support@vji.app. We respond within the timeframes required by law (for example, under the GDPR and CCPA).
International Data Transfers
Vji runs on Cloudflare's global network. Your data may be processed or stored outside your country of residence. We rely on our providers' standard contractual and technical safeguards for such transfers.
Children
Vji is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in the EU). If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure-level isolation — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on vji.app or by email. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
