What is IGCSE Physics?
This sheet gathers the core equations of IGCSE Physics (Cambridge 0625 and Edexcel) in one page: motion and forces, momentum and energy, thermal physics, waves and optics, electricity, and density and pressure. Each entry shows the formula with the units of every symbol, so you can check both the relation and the quantity you are plugging in.
Most marks are lost on two things the sheet cannot do for you: rearranging the formula, and unit conversion. Practise isolating each variable (v=d/t becomes d=vt) and converting prefixes (km to m, minutes to seconds) before exam day.
Constants are at the bottom. Cambridge and Edexcel usually state the value of g in the question (about 10 N/kg); use the value given in your paper when it differs.
FAQ
Does this cover every IGCSE physics equation?
It covers the core equation set shared by Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) and Edexcel International GCSE — motion, forces, momentum, energy, thermal physics, waves, optics, electricity and pressure. Triple-award or extension papers may add a few more (for example the ideal gas equation pV=nRT), so skim your syllabus checklist.
What value of g should I use?
The gravitational field strength on Earth is about 9.8 N/kg; most IGCSE papers tell you to use 10 N/kg for easier arithmetic. Always use the value printed in the question when one is given.
Which equations do I still have to memorise?
Some boards print a formula list in the exam and some do not — but even when the formula is given, you must memorise the units, the prefixes (milli, kilo, mega) and how to rearrange for any variable. Those skills, not the equations, are where most marks go.
Can I export this as a printable PNG?
Yes. Everything is pre-filled — untick the entries you don't need, pick a style, and export the PNG for free. You can also let the AI redesign the layout around the same content.
